The US Green Building Council is a non-profit organization that promotes sustainability in building design and operation. USGBC works to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. To achieve this it has developed a variety of programs and services, and works closely with its network of 77 regional chapters, 13,000 member organizations, key industry and research organizations and federal, state and local government. Through its partnership with the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), USGBC offers a suite of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) professional credentials that denote expertise in the field of green building.
The international Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) is a non-profit, member-driven organization established in 1987 to advance ground source heat pump (GSHP) technology on local, state, national and international levels. With its access to the most current advancements in the geothermal industry, IGSHPA is the ideal bridge between the latest technology and the people who benefit from these developments.
The Eastern Heating and Cooling Council is a non-profit educational organization comprised of HVAC contractors, distributors, manufacturers and other trade allies. Since its formation in 1990, the Council has provided quality technical training to the HVAC community throughout the United States, offering a large selection of courses and seminars.
In addition to its connections with various training institutions, EHCC has developed relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, utilities and trade associations nationwide.
